I got myself all charged up and ready, equipment at the ready, safety goggles on.
I tapped using the wall paper scraper and hammer and wiggled it. Next thing almost half of the tiles come forward in one huge sheet.
Great, this is not only easy but also a lot quicker than I had hoped. Then I realised that they had pulled all the plaster off the wall.
I am glad that I know now to factor in re plastering as I want my tiles straight and to stay up.
Here are the photos of this exciting mission.
The breakfast bar area.
Looks like a lot of hard work. I like that green colour wall. X
ReplyDeleteI will be keeping the green and the rest of the kitchen will be designed that as the main colour!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat green, champagne and a pale lemon bon bon sort of colour with a flash of blue in the blinds.
:)
Good luck with the kitchen revamp. I like the cats and snails on your blind material. Best wishes, Pj x
