Scooter is not really very photogenic.
It is a real shame as he has such a cure little face.
Somedays he looks very oriental. Somedays he looks fat. Everyday he looks grumpy!
This is him laying on my lap ready for a cuddle.

I am doing a sponsored event.... no fitness or training involved!!!
As you know, I am not one for running, jumping, hula hooping
for 48 hours or sponsored silences…….so I never take part in any sponsored
events… until now.
I have found the perfect way to raise money for a charity
called Merlin (http://www.merlin.org.uk/).
Basically on the 21st February, the only food that will pass my lips in 24 hours will be the PLUMPYNUT paste.
As you will know this will be really tough for me as I like
to graze on crisps and chocolate all day long.
You can use either of the pages to sponsor me! http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserPage.action?userUrl=Kackers&pageUrl=3
What's
Plumpy
Nut?
Pretty much just
as it sounds! It’s an edible peanut paste, packed with calories and vitamins, that is specially formulated to feed
starving children.
Plumpy’Nut® is
the last resort for many children in East Africa. They come to us when they are
severely malnourished and their lives are in danger. It can take up to eight
weeks to stabilise children.
In 2012, Merlin
has saved the lives of countless children using nutty pastes just like this.
Who
is Merlin?
Merlin works in
many of the world’s toughest places bringing badly needed health care to people
who have nowhere else to turn.
Malnutrition and
lack of food kills millions of children each year.
We’ve been
working in East Africa for almost 20 years, making sure starving children get
the food they need to live.
Even after the
cameras have left, we’re still there. Still working. Still saving lives.
How
do the funds raised help?
On average it
takes eight weeks to take a severely malnourished child back to health with
Plumpy’Nut®.
By raising £50,
you will help Merlin provide one starving child with three nutritious sachets
each day for eight weeks, helping to save a precious life.
Amazingly, our
promise to you is that, on average, 96p of every £1 spent goes directly to
our field operations.
It’s really that
simple. One day of eating nuts for you means a starving child can eat.

Tassimo Heaven
So after months of research and waiting, I finally took the plunge and bought a 2nd hand Tassimo T20 in black.
I say second hand as it was used 3 times and then the woman decided to get it in white to match her kitchen.
I got the black one at a super bargain price and will get to register it and cliam the £20 free vouchers.
It was ready to use in minutes and once I realised this I was up and running.
The noise was a little louder than I expected but it all added to the thrill and anticipation!
Lots of gurgles, big waft of steam and I had made my first drink.....
A latte macchiato
In all fairness it did look similar to this but maybe not quite as tidy.
I am not sure about the creamer used though as it tasted "artifical". I will make s few more drinks though before I decided if a milk frother will be the next purchase.
The latte macchiato was closed followed by a dark columbian
Followed by a cafe creama which I really liked.
Tonight I am trying hot chocblate and cappuccino.

Mobile Posting
Aha, finally I have worked out how to post with multiple photos via the phone.
I have and am having a nightmare finding software that allows me to post in a simple manner from an iPad though.
If you have any suggestions......
